Wayne: How did you find out you had fatty liver disease? — Patient Video

Wayne Eskridge is the founder of the Fatty Liver Foundation. In this video, he shares how he was diagnosed with fatty liver disease and NASH cirrhosis. After years of subtle symptoms and inconclusive tests, a scan in 2015 confirmed his condition. He reflects on how limited liver disease awareness and diagnostic tools were at the time and expresses gratitude for improved care and early diagnosis that helped him manage the disease. Wayne emphasizes the importance of early detection and better awareness to help others facing similar challenges.
